FAQ

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions. If you have any other questions regarding our watches, please don't hesitate to reach us by using the ‘Contact Us’ page on our website.

  • Q1: Why would I want to buy a replica watch instead of a real one?

A1: The reason why replica watches are so popular is because you can look classy and professional, yet not have to spend tens of thousands of pounds doing it. These watches look identical to the ones you will find at the store selling for prices most people would not be able to afford. There is no reason why these beautiful watches should only be limited to the rich, but to everyone who wants to add a touch of class to their life style.

  • Q2: Are these watches of high quality or will they break after I wear them for a few times?

A2: It depends on how you wear it. If you wear it regularly, it will last a few years without any problems. The watches we offer are of a very high quality. These are not the cheap quality watches you will find on the streets that will break after a few days, these will last for years! We are so confident in our watches, we offer an exchange or refund for any watches if they are ever defective.

  • Q3: I have seen other websites that offer them for cheaper, why are yours more expensive?

A3: The price of the watches depends on the quality; many websites will carry the lowest quality available and hence are able to sell them for cheaper. But we do not believe in offering low quality goods that may break down after being worn just once or twice. In fact, we believe so strongly in our products that we have a warranty for all items purchased from our site.

  • Q4: What is a replica watch and how is it different from the real watches?

A4: The main and sometimes only difference would be that of price. With current technology and technical know-how, a replica watch is very much able to replicate almost exactly what a high end original timepiece is able to do, without the price of advertising and marketing! This means that the cost savings are passed on to you, the customer.

  • Q5: What is Automatic Movement? What is meant by sweeping second hand?

A5: An automatic watch is a mechanical watch whose mainspring is wound as a result of the wearer's arm motion. The movement of the wrist and body causes the rotor, a metal weight attached to a winding mechanism, to pivot freely on its staff in the center of the movement. The rotor rotates back and forth in a circular motion at the slightest action of the wrist. The rotor's movement winds the mainspring, a flat coiled spring that powers mechanical watches.
Rolex refers to its automatic watches as "perpetual." Automatic, self-winding and perpetual all mean the same thing: the watch winds itself. Many people appreciate the craft involved in making a mechanical automatic movement. They like the fact that this technology is hundreds of years old, involves many moving parts, and yet keeps very accurate time. (Many automatics come with glass backs which enable the wearer to view the action of the rotor and other moving parts.) They appreciate the human element involved in an automatic watch, that the movement is assembled by hand. Others like the fact that automatics run on so-called "clean," natural energy--wrist power.
A person's normal arm and wrist motion will keep an automatic watch properly wound. If you haven't worn an automatic in a while, it is best to wind the stopped watch before putting it on. Ten to 15 turns of the crown is usually enough to give full power to the mainspring.
A sweeping seconds hand usually refers to the movement of the seconds hand in an automatic movement watch. Unlike quartz (battery powered) watches, automatic movement watches have a rapidly ticking seconds hand which ticks many times per second rendering their movement to be smooth sweeping to the naked eye.

  • Q6: Why does my automatic movement replica lose time and on occasion stops moving?

A6: When you first receive your automatic movement replica, you will need to wind it for 3 minutes straight BEFORE wearing it. Thereafter if you wear it daily, it will continue to wind itself on your wrist when you move around and walk. If you stop wearing it for more than approximately 2 days, the watch will need to be reset, but will then automatically wind itself once you start wearing it again.
Your watch would hence not keep time if it is not worn constantly. However, take heart that you will never ever have to replace the battery as there isn’t one, and most of all, this type of movement is exactly what the originals use!

  • Q7: How do I set time?

A7: To set the time for your automatic watch, you will need to turn button in an anti-clockwise direction if you have a screw-in lock watch. You will then need to softly pull the button out a little bit. The best way to do this is to use your first and second finger and to also use your finger nail as a lever in order to pull the button out with as little force as possible. You will feel a little click when you do this correctly. In some watches with a date function, the first step would be for adjusting the date, the second step would be for the time. Now you can set the time by turning it anti-clockwise. This would turn the minute-hour hands forward until you set the right time. After the correct time is set, push the button back and turn it clockwise for a few rounds to lock it in position.

  • Q8: Do you ship out the watch on the same day that I order it?
